Unpack everything first. Plug in the computer (don't turn on). Plug monitor into the computer with cord I gave you. Then plug into wall. Should really have a power strip (surge protector). Plug keyboard, mouse and speakers into the computer.
Make sure your WIFI in the house is working and you know the password to it. Have a password ready something like dadd3870. I would use someone's 4 digit phone number that isn't in your house but you call on occasion and a name of 4 or 5 digits before it. You might also need a 4 digit pin number which again is something you won't forget. Write all passwords and pins down and keep away from computer.
Now turn on monitor and speakers. Then the computer. You will need several hours for it to load and update the software. Don't turn it off till it isn't loading and says it's ready to be used. You won't be able to load anything till that time. Being new it shouldn't be too long. I've had some take several hours (5 to 6). If you don't have a google account it might be a good time to create one. Think about the questions it asks you as it's difficult to change later.
